Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11 July 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to tmgreen.uk ("the Site"). The Site is operated by T.M. Green ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to all visitors to the Site. The Site does not offer user accounts and does not sell anything directly -- it exists to present our books and writing, and to let you get in touch or subscribe to our newsletter.
2. Intellectual Property and Content Licence
All content published on the Site -- including text, synopses, cover artwork, and other images ("Content") -- is the copyright of T.M. Green unless otherwise stated.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view the Content in your browser for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Redistribute, republish, resell, or sublicence any Content
- Create derivative works based on any Content
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices or proprietary markings
Brief quotations from the Site for the purpose of review, criticism, or news reporting are permitted with attribution, in line with fair dealing under UK copyright law.
3. Buying Our Books
Our books are sold through third-party retailers and platforms, including Payhip, Amazon, and the other stores linked from each book's page. When you follow a purchase link, you leave the Site: the transaction takes place entirely on the retailer's platform, and your contract of sale is formed there under that platform's own terms of sale, refund policy, and privacy policy.
The Site is not a party to those transactions. For questions about an order, payment, refund, or download purchased from a retailer, please contact that retailer through its own support channels. Nothing in these terms forms part of, or modifies, any contract you enter into with a retailer.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract Content from the Site, except for the machine-readable resources we deliberately publish (such as the sitemap and llms.txt files)
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or anti-abuse features of the Site
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
- Use the contact form or newsletter signup to send spam, unlawful material, or content that is abusive or deceptive
5. Third-Party Links
The Site links to external websites -- including retailers, audiobook platforms, and other services -- for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Content on this Site is provided for entertainment purposes on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Site or its Content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to devices arising from your use of the Site or any Content obtained through it.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, or other force majeure events.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
